At Clintonville Barbell, our motto is “strength in numbers,” meaning that by lifting as a community, we are stronger, happier, and more resilient together. Whether you are training for a national competition or trying to improve your technique, we have a place for you.

We work directly with competitive weightlifters, and CrossFit Clintonville members who want to improve their technique and numbers in the Olympic lifts. Clintonville Barbell offers classes focused specifically on weightlifting, and custom programming for those who want to focus solely on the discipline. The development classes are included in an unlimited CrossFit Clintonville membership.

Facility

We have everything you need to train in weightlifting, from kilogram and pound bumper plates to needle-bearing barbells, platforms, squat racks, jerk blocks, and a wide variety of accessory equipment.

Olympic Weightlifting

Clintonville Barbell develops athletes of all skill levels in the two main Olympic lifts: the snatch and the clean & jerk. These lifts increase athletic performance, burn calories, improve strength, and inspire confidence in our lifters. Come lift with us!

Powerlifting

Clintonville Barbell develops athletes of all skill levels in the sport of Powerlifting. Specifically under the USAPL federation. Coach Josh trains athletes to compete in the bench, deadlift, and back squat. Come lift with us!
